About the Author...

Ross Drago was raised in what he describes as "America's Moscow",------- Buffalo, New York. The son of an artist and inventor, he grew up painting and writing in his father's studio, having the opportunity to skip crayons and go directly into oil on canvas at age nine. As a writer, he and a co-writer friend, John De Simone, had one goal during the years from thirteen to seventeen, to write one hundred pages a day, during summer vacation.

He later received his degree in painting, sculpture from SUNY at Buffalo. He was described by the late literary critic Fred Cody, as the best short story writer in the Bay Area. Drago received a two page review in the Berkeley Monthly by Mr. Cody.

Lancaster-Miller Publications published his first book of short stories. This book, America The Beautiful, as well as eight other books were subsequently recorded in audio tape cassette format through Backbone Books Audio-Literature, from 1987 through 1997.

Now the founder, and Director of the Energy Art Studio, Ross Drago teaches painting from an energy point of view, and paints in a language of his own invention called Energy Symbols. At the Energy Art Studio he lectures on human energy consciousness, and human relationships as seen from an energy conscious point of view. Drago's writing may well be described as American-Mystic with a love for explaining the principles behind the energy universe we live in.
